The bare wax candle must always be placed inside the provided snug-fitting glass holder before lighting. To get the maximum 18-hour burn time per candle, allow the wax to melt to the very edges of the glass on your first burn to prevent tunneling. Always trim the wick to 5mm before each use to maintain a steady, clean flame, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
